Brand building is trust building

Rebranding a 120 year old brand

Just thinking of all the places your logo currently appears probably makes the thought of rebranding terrifying.

Signage, stationery, advertising, website, merchandising, videos, the list goes on.

Which is why, many organisations make do with ineffective marketing materials for years rather than face the daunting challenge of a rebrand.

Melbourne Girls Grammar was no different.

But within three short months, we were able to transform a 120 year old brand into a contemporary reflection of their absolute essence.

Stripping back the crest to its original elements and working with the information hierarchy, the logo is modern with a more direct connection to its past.

The logo was just the beginning, there were ads to develop, magazines to design, as well as a myriad of pieces of marketing collatoral to consider.

The highlight was developing a new approach to fundraising, with a video, print ad, and mailer.

All of this was executed within those few months, with a formal handover to an independent designer to implement the work into the future.
